CLINTON MORRISON believes Crystal Palace have the qualities to mount a promotion challenge next season.
The striker scored his 97th Palace goal and Mark Kennedy grabbed the other in a comfortable 2-0 victory over third-placed Rams on Saturday.
The result ensured Sunderland and Birmingham their places in the top flight, leaving Derby to the lottery of the play-offs.
“It was great to get the goal and the win,” said MORRISON. “It’s important to finish the season well.
"Kenny Cunningham and some of the Irish boys at Sunderland asked me to do them a favour and I managed it, so I'll be expecting a few happy texts and bottles of champagne.
“It’s been a disappointing season, but if we play like that next season, it could be us winning promotion.”
